Welcome back to once again the annual "Relationship Debate Day". Our topic for the day is, "Does spending/splurging excessively on ur partners means the relationship is going fine? Or does it mean that as long as your partner is happy, u dun mind spending lots and lots on them?"
My view on this topic is guys who spends lots of $$$, may it be their hard earn money or living expenses given from their parents, is called naive. U might call that pampering. But pampering doesn't always incur huge $$ involved. People muz be thinking derrick is a miser who dun like to spend money on gf. Well u are wrong, i do spend on my gf and i spend it wisely. If let's say u are so rich that u could buy ur gf gifts once a week, i take my hat off u. Juz imagine. If one day u forget or dun feel lilke buying her gifts bcos u are tight at cash, u are in deep shit. U will be burried with words like " u do like me anymore?, are u having some1 outside? how can u forget to buy gifts for me" the list can juz carry on and on. Well how good a gf can a person like this be? I have came across some real life situation happen b4. I was kinda disgusted when i saw that. It sets me into thinking, does the girl want the relationship with u bcos u have the calling card(cash)? Or does the girl want to be in the relationship with u bcos she knows she have something to gain?(material stuffs).
I bet that constitute to the minority section of the female population. Right? On the contrary, there are also nice girls around. Sometimes, the first moment when u see the girl, u can see whether the girl is a simple pleasant girl or a not so simple and with motive person. Those wonderful girls are usually sincere in nature and they give u the impression that i want nothing but love from u. And u can see how passionate she can be when the 2 of u are together. Countless times of holding hands, gentle kisses , warm hugs, more than happy looking smiles on their face, captivating looks. All this can simply melt ur heart. and not break your heart.
All readers please give ur opinions abt the topic for today and make the annual event a success.
The reader will the most interesting comment will stand a chance win a secret surprise.

Interesting Jokes i have read during working hours.
A man was taking it easy, lying on the grass and looking up at the clouds. He was identifying shapes, when he decided to talk to God. "God," he said, "how long is a million years?"
God answered, "In my frame of reference, it's about a minute."
The man asked, "God, how much is a million dollars?"
God answered, "To me, it's a penny."
The man then asked, "God, can I have a penny?"
God answered, "Sure! Just a minute."

Bob and his friend Joe went out hunting. This was Joe's first time hunting, so he was following Bob's lead. Bob saw a small herd of deer and told Joe to stay in the exact spot he was in and be quiet. After a few minutes, Bob heard a loud scream. He ran back and asked Joe what had happened. Joe said, "There was this snake and he slithered across my feet, but I never screamed. Then there was this bear that came up to me and snarled, but I never screamed."
"So then what did make you scream?" Bob asked, exasperated.
"Well," Joe continued, "two squirrels crawled up my pants and I overheard them say, 'Should we take them home or eat 'em now?'"

One summer evening during a violent thunderstorm, a mother was tucking her young boy into bed. She was about to turn off the lights when he asked with a tremor in his voice, "Mommy, will you sleep with me tonight?" His mother smiled and gave him a reassuring hug. "I can't dear," she said. "I have to sleep in daddy's room."
A long silence was broken at last by his little voice, "The big sissy."

Two rednecks are walking toward each other when one sees the other carrying a bag on his shoulder. He yells out, "Billy Bob! What you got in the bag?"
Billy Bob replies, "Aw, just some chickens, Cletus."
Cletus thinks to himself and says, "Hey, if I can guess how many chickens you got in that there bag, can I have one of 'em?"
Billy Bob says, "Shoot, if you can do that you can have both of 'em!"
Cletus squints his eyes and says, "Um... Five?

Savouring in the fragrance of the coffee i have made moments ago is juz heavenly. WTH i'm juz trying to make my ipp stay more pleasant. With weekends approaching, ones mood for some productive work seems lost. Although we are all in our casuals, the feeling of coming to work still suxs. Man gotta enjoy more now when there's still a chance. I wouldn't wanna slog now the way i'm 5-10 yrs down the road. I still want my teenage life to rock.
Mum's have always been putting up with the pressure from grandma. It's sad to see my mum getting frustrated bcos of the recent stuffs that happen. All the while is my dear mum that took the responsiblity of taking care of daily necessity of my grandma which is living juz a block across us. The rest of my auntie's doesn't seem to be bothered. Looking at the way my mum was treated, i was really damn disgusted. My mum have been taking care of grandma since the day grandma was shifted to amk. And now, grandma is complaining that her "xi fu" (my mum and those aunties) isn't caring abt her. WTF man. My mum is always looking after her and she told my mum that. Can see that mum was very unhappy. For all this years my mum have been doing all this without a single complain. In return what she get wasn't "without u, i dunno how am i gonna live" and instead " i would rather die now. My xi fu's are not taking care of me" My grandma is bias, real @#$! bias. The rest of my aunties did nothing and she never complain to them. Something is really out of her mind.
Although mum is unemployed, she took up babysitting and have to take care of 2 of my grandma's. Juz look at the responsibilities she have shouldered. I mean it's perfectly fine to take care of my mum's mother, which she ought to. But i feel that the full responsibility shouldn't be on her to take care of my dad's mum. Although dad did help out too. And furthermore, my dad is not the only son his mother had. She has 2 sons and 3 daughters. They are juz some irresponsible adults who couldn't care much abt any other thing except for their small family of their own. Next time when they grow old i really hope none of their daughters in law will take care of them. And let them treasure how important it is to have at least some one taking care of her. Sometimes i really wanna step up and confront them. But the time i meet up with them is during new year. Wasn't a right time for that.
Mum's is doing her 100% to set up our family. When she juz got married, she worked hard and with her bare hands, she and my dad bought this cosy flat that we are living. Slowly year by year she does little touchs up on the apartment with her spare cash. And now it's done to her perfection. I wouldn't have notice till now that i could juz looked upon her as a role model. Bringing the kids to school, ensuring they have proper educations, live comfortably , saving up bit by bit juz to giv their child sufficient to spend. Some of you last time might think that i'm rich, i was laughing like hell. All thanks to mum i lead a comfortable life. And the best part is she give me room to make my own decision. That was when i tot. "Mum sees me as a mature young man, i muz make sure i let them lead a comfortable life when they grow old, juz like the way i'm treated now"
As years gone by, seeing my mum's face getting more wrinkles really saddens me. At her age now, she should be going out wif her friends more often and doing some light housework, instead of slogging. Blessed her with a healthy life~ I remember there was 1 mother's day, i went to get a watch for my mum as a surprised, it made her happy for almost a week. And till now she is still wearing the watch often. Children of all parents, it's now ur turn to pamper ur ah ma and ah pa. Turn to them and thank them for bringing u up. That's the way it should be. Ended it with a light note. Happy weekends~~~
